Rumors about the new iMac, with a display Retina, have been around for a long time, but until now, no one called the exact release date of the updated candy bar. No such data now, but amazing synchronicity of several quite reliable sources, as well as the leaked details of a new 27-inch iMac make you think. Thus, the Retina display in the iMac comes this fall, when the model will be updated monoblock.

Unnamed sources familiar with the plans of Apple, reported that the company has plans to launch a new model iMac, equipped with a display Retina, this fall. It is about a 27-inch version of monoblock, display resolution of which will be 5120 x 2880 pixels. Data on such resolution, we recall, were found in the code of OS X Yosemite.

Since the new Intel processors are not yet available, it will use the new generation processors Haswell. Among them will be the top-end Core i7-4790K 4.0 GHz. In addition, iMac will be transferred to the graphics AMD. Probably, affordable solutions Nvidia were unsuitable for such a high resolution. Monoblock design will remain the same.

If the 27-inch iMac will get a display Retina, a 21-inch version yet remain out of work. Now the fun part – the date of the announcement of new items. Several sources, including 9to5 and Re / code, confirm that the iMac with Retina display is in the final stages of testing and will be available this fall. It is likely that this could happen as early as October, at the presentation of the new iPad and OS X Yosemite.
