It seems that the 6.5-inch iPhone X model will have the option of landscape or horizontal mode that the iPad has today. The latest beta released by Apple is giving a lot of clues about the new models of the company and in this case it is a data collected by the Brazilian website iHelpBR .
Everything points that this is already a confirmed data and would only be available for the largest model, the 6.5 inches. We remember that this year we could have three different models of iPhone including the model of 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch and another with 6.5-inch OLED screen, all of them with the same design of the current iPhone X.
Once the Xcode is executed in the beta of iOS 12 with a resolution of 1,242 by 2,688 pixels that would have the model of iPhone Plus of 6.5 inches, some apps are shown in the horizontal mode and this is significant since not all the iPhone supports it . The native applications like: Calendar, Contacts and Messages change the interface to be shown in landscape and therefore we can say that it would be another of the novelties for this iPhone of greater size.
The curious thing is that the current iPhone X does not have this option active with its 5.8-inch screen and a resolution of 1,242 by 2,688 pixels, it is possible that once launched the new model is implemented in current models but it’s unlikely that Apple will do that.
In any case, the important thing is that this iPad landscape mode will be available in the future new iPhone and this is undoubtedly a good thing.
