Regardless of a number of Apple criticism of policy, the fact remains that Apple is a source of inspiration for all manufacturers on the market. Acer obviously no exception to the rule and the firm has benefited from the IFA 2011  to introduce an ultra-portable, the Acer Aspire S3, which is reminiscent of the MacBook Air. Yes, well except that it will be much cheaper . In short, if you count the bike change soon, for sure, you will probably not run out of options. And something tells me that Santa will have a lot of work this year …

In terms of design, engineers have Acer awfully pleased. The S3 and will sport a hull made of aluminum and magnesium , which is totally in the spirit of the cabbage products. Moreover, it suffers in both the weight and dimensions of the beast: 13 millimeters thick to 1.4 kg .Really not bad, if you tend to spend your life in transit or to cover events (and thus to walk again and again) , they are criteria to consider in the purchase of your machine.

For specifications of the beast, and although again it is good surprises surprises. The Aspire S3 board and u n 13.3 inch screen with a resolution of 1366 by 768 , a processor that Sandy Bridge will go to the Core Core i7 i3, an Intel graphics chip HD 3000, a 500 GB hard drive, WiFi , Bluetooth, Dolby Home Theater v4, two USB ports, an HDMI output, an SD card slot and a nice style keyboard "Chiclet". Interestingly, for the wealthy, it will be possible to take an optional SSD (240 GB) .

Of course, the beast will run on Windows 7 and integrate technology Acer Instant Green that will allow it to come out of sleep in 1.5 seconds. Side independence, board battery should allow the Acer Aspire S3 to hold something like 6 hours for normal use. Note finally that this laptop will land on the market in September and will be offered from 799 euros  Really cheap, sure, but if you want to take advantage of the SSD, then it will cost something like 1199 euros, the same amount for a MacBook Air.
