Amazon releases its application for the Apple Watch. The large firms want to have presence in the Apple Watch and that’s something that we could begin to notice in recent weeks. The latest addition is Amazon, who has just presented its application for smartphone apple clock which will allow us to make purchases directly from the wrist. Who would buy something from Apple Watch can do it from the iPhone? That’s not our thing.
The application is very similar to that found in Android Wear, although its distribution has been specifically tailored to the design guidelines imposed by Apple. The Amazon app gives us the possibility to browse thousands of items from our wrist, select those you want to add to the wish list or just checkout as we would from your computer or mobile.
To find the product we are looking for is as simple as using voice search and select the item of interest. Get a vision with the most important details of it as a descriptive picture, the price and main technical characteristics. From here, we can add it to the wishlist to decide what to do with it later or we can proceed directly to purchase.
If we decide to buy it, we will see an onscreen button to indicate “Buy now with 1 Click” with pressed will have completed the process. Of course, shipping details, addresses and others are used by default we have stored in our Amazon account settings even if we change the application gives us the possibility to use Handoff to do it from your iPhone.
The latest update of Amazon is now available for iPhone completely free. Also, now that the Apple Watch App Store has opened its doors, find the application to download on our smart watch.
Although these applications may not be the most suitable for a device like the Apple Watch, the possibility to purchase an item with one touch means more an advantage than a disadvantage. Possibly this app is not for most of us, but I’m sure someone will find a useful application.
