Analyst Says Apple TV iPanel to cost $1250


Analysts should not all the time probably the most dependable sources in terms of new Apple products. We will therefore be seen whether the analyst Peter Misek has it right. Misek argues that the long awaited Apple TV iTV but iPanel does not mention. There will initially be 5 million pieces are produced in May on the market. Misek think iTV is a name that is too reminiscent of a traditional television, while the Apple product can be much more. 



“Hai and its related entities are the largest shareholder (with a 6% stake) in Chimei Innolux, which is the largest LCD display manufacturer in Taiwan. Recent reports note that Chimei Innolux is running at 80% capacity utilization for its large-size panels, which leads us to believe that Hon Hai’s Sharp investment is less about securing capacity and more about its relationship with Apple and the upcoming launch of iTV. We believe that Sharp and Apple had modified IGZO technology to make much-improved HD displays. The Sharp relationship will enable Apple to diversify away from Samsung and gain additional display capacity with leading-edge technology.”

It can serve as a computer, game console, media hub, control screen for home automation and much more.Moreover, Apple's problems with the British television network ITV get the name iTV is still put.

That Apple TV will make, is no longer a secret. Steve Jobs's biographer Walter Isaacson spoke last Monday in Amsterdam openly about Apple's TV plans, though without giving many details.Misek predicted further that Apple TV will sell for $ 1250, with a gross margin of 30 percent. The TVs will IGZO panels from Sharp used. That claim has been questioned because the IGZO panels not yet ripe for the market.
