The Motorola Moto G (second generation) devices have been the first to officially receive Android 5.0 update Lollipop, the new version of the Google operating system. While the Goolge Nexus 6 and 9, were the first to have Android 5.0 version number, the update has reached the Moto G second generation rather than Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013 editions). According to Motorola, the mid-range smartphone is ready to receive the update via a download of 386 MB.
Android 5.0 Lollipop reach other Moto devices and Nexus and other Android devices in the coming days. Among the novelties introduced Lollipop, featuring the new design: Material Design design language that has come to some Google applications and looks forward to an improved user interface experience. Lollipop Android 5.0 comes with new menus, icons, notifications and animations for opening folders. In addition, we will see a different use of colors, textures and shades.
