Android Paid Apps Cost More Than iOS, Study Says


Canalysis analysis agency published in a brand new find out about that discovered Android Apps are dearer than the iOS Apps. The firm looked a list of both 100 top paid-for apps both Android and iOS platform. The list of these 100 Android Market apps added up all together cost $374.37, averaged out to $3.47 and App while iTunes Store total came up to $1.47 an app with a  total of $147.



In most case studies, the data can be taken differently but with Canalysis fewer data was collected from a hundred Apps that was purchased to contribute to this research. The result confim that 22 of these 100 apps on Android cost an average of $0.99 on the iPhone.  As noted by Fortune, monopoly app cost from EA cost $4.99 on Android and $0.99 on the iPhone.


The survey reveals that the top paid-for Android apps are priced dramatically higher than those on iOS for the iPhone. In the US, to purchase the top 100 paid-for apps in the Android Market would cost $374.37 – an average of $3.74 per app – more than 2.5 times the cost of the top 100 paid-for iPhone apps. The top 100 iPhone apps would cost $147.00, or $1.47 on average per app.

Regardless of the result, Apple developpers are making big money from the App Store, as Steve cook anounced in the Q1 2012 in which they have eraned 4 billion in total sales
