Anker has initiated the pre-orders of the first Apple MFi certified cable made by a third-party company. The accessory will then be available at the end of the month.
The PowerLine II USB-C cable comes with a lifetime warranty and can withstand up to 12000 folds. The cost is $15.99 and shipments will start at the end of February. The same cable made by Apple costs $19.
With this Lightning to USB-C cable, you can then synchronize and recharge an iPhone by connecting it directly to your MacBook or MacBook Pro, without having to use any USB adapter.
Apple took some time to activate the MFi program for cables from Lightning to USB-C and Anker is the first company to offer a solution of this type.
