With its MobileFirst initiative, Apple and IBM added eight new business applications designed exclusively for iPhone and iPad. The latest applications developed within the framework of the partnership between the two companies include two new industries: health care and industrial products. The eight new applications bring total MobileFirst iOS applications to 22, while the two new industries now stands at 10, including banks, law enforcement, travel, and retail.
The eight new business applications and the two new industries join the three iOS apps IBM launched early last month at the Mobile World Congress.
Recall that this partnership allows Apple to better spread among professionals, an area she always wanted to achieve. It also provides sales of its iPhone / iPad and other products higher than normal in the corporate sector by offering applications specifically designed for them – all with the huge IBM experience in this sector.
The applications are divided by industry which now include health, industrial, banking and financial markets, travel and transportation, retail, insurance, energy and utilities, telecommunications, law enforcement, and social programs.

The application for iPhone RN Hospital frees nurses from several pagers and phones, and gives them the ability to access patient records from anywhere in the hospital. With the iBeacon technology Hospital RN accurately identifies patients location to nurses can easily access their records and provide appropriate care.
The iPad app Hospital Lead is responsible for all information that nurses should have at their fingertips. Push Notifications deliver the tasks effectively, so that they can be assigned to a staff member. Lists of priority tasks enable signal, delay, delegate, or mark it as complete.
The iPhone app keeps Tech Hospital nurse closely related to its care team, so that patients are treated quickly and safely.
Home RN for iPhone helps nurses provide care of the highest quality out of the hospital. It is easy for nurses to add photos, videos, text and audio notes in the patient record. Push notifications to the patient’s team allows to simply and quickly share the progress of patient care.
The Rapid Handover iPad application is easy and intuitive to document against a master, for industrial products, share information with other members. Critical data, including production goals, equipment maintenance, and crew lists are available at a glance.
The Ancillary Sale iPhone app allows passengers to easily buy food, drinks, and complete the transaction with Apple Pay or sliding a credit card through the systems proposed in flight.
The application Order Commit iPad allows merchants to access important measures on financial goals and promotional sale.
Applying Risk Inspect allows for more accurate insurance inspections ask reduced need. Inspectors may enter a photo and video.
