Apple announced a 9.7-inch iPad with a brighter Retina display, which has a 64-bit A9 chip and is positioned as an upper model of the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 4. The new 9.7-inch iPad is offered with 32GB and 128GB storage, however the mini which does not have a 32 GB capacity model, appeared in two different versions: Wi-fi with 128GB and Wi-fi + 4G.

The new 9.7-inch iPad is similar in many ways to the iPad Air 2, but with the A9 chip and a brighter Retina display instead of the A8X chip. The new 9.7-inch iPad will be available from Apple.com on Friday, March 24th and will be available next week in more than 20 countries and territories, particularly in the United States with the Apple Store and certain carries.
