Apple is hiring hundreds of new engineers in China and Taiwan to develop new categories of products and the launch of new hardware devices , particularly the iPhone with large screen , reports The Wall Street Journal , citing informed sources .
The publication has information that Apple has hired former engineers HTC and other Taiwanese companies, combining these groups with their development teams in Shanghai and Taipei.
It is noted that in the last year the Mac maker has hired several hundred new employees in China to design components for the iPhone and iPad, tasked them accelerate time to market of new products . We also learned that Apple intends to expand the list of suppliers after a series of scandals concerning the conditions of employment of workers in their factories .
From August 2013 through the Apple network LinkedIn contacted engineers at HTC, Inventec and Quanta Computer, trying to get them to work in their R & D- site in Shanghai.
