Apple is about to launch its video streaming service as early as April, with an implementation similar to Amazon Prime Video. The presentation is scheduled for March 25th.
According to the latest rumors, it seems that CBS, Viacom, and Starz will be part of the new streaming service, but there will also be a large amount of original content, which are already in production and on which Apple has bet a lot, spending at least a billion dollars up to now.
Apple will probably raise the veil on its new streaming video service in the event to be held next March 25, given the company’s invitation to a handful of Hollywood stars; the same day will almost certainly present a subscription news service. Jennifer Garner, and J.J. Abrams, Reese Witherspoon have been invited to on March 25 Apple event.
If the April date is accurate, it is likely that Apple will announce on this occasion its streaming service, and probably also a complete subscription plan that analysts have called Apple Prime, which should include the new streaming service, Apple Music and Apple News. It also seems that some content will be free for iOS and Apple TV users,
The project, despite everything, is still a mystery, but Apple CEO Tim Cook reiterated the commitment of the Cupertino company to establish itself in the service sector, focusing on Apple TV and original video content.
