Apple is getting ready to buy Beats Electronics for $3.2 billion



Apple is about to make the most expensive purchase . As reported by Financial Times , citing its own sources , the Cupertino company intends to purchase beats headphone manufacturer speakers and other audio Beats Electronics for $3.2 billion .

Founded in 2006, the famous rap artist Dr. Dre and producer Jimmy Lovin Beats Electronics owns online music service Beats, and also specializes in the production of audio equipment. This purchase can be the largest in the history of Apple. Acquisition of Beats Electronics will allow ” fruit ” of the company to strengthen its positions in the market online music services.

Apple periodically buys start-ups and small companies , but rarely pays for them more than a few hundred million dollars . Expensive deals worth more than a billion , the company tries to avoid . Nevertheless , in February, Apple CEO Tim Cook said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal said that his company is open to large acquisitions.
