The home button on the iPhone has been around since the first generation. Now Apple is reportedly working it to make the little button disappear.
As DigiTimes reports, the iPhone maker is working on a single chip, which is intended to enable both to control the touch screen, the display and the fingerprint recognition.
This chip will be used in future iPhones and allow very thin displays, consisting of a flat surface and use the entire front of the phone. The Apple home button, as we know it today, be removed from the iPhone front.
Although the report does not specifically mention the integration of home buttons in the display, this is a likely solution.
As usual, rumors from DigiTimes, based on reports from suppliers circles in the Far East, to be treated with caution.
