The replacement program refers to iPhone 11 units manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 and does not cover iPhone 11 Pro or Pro Max. Anyone who owns an iPhone 11 with touch problems, therefore, will only have to connect to the Apple support website and enter the serial number of their device to see if it is eligible for repair.
How to request a display replacement After entering the serial number of your device, you can choose to:
Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider
Make an appointment at an Apple Store
Contact Apple Support to arrange shipment through the Apple Repair Center
Before delivering your smartphone, remember to make a backup on iCloud or on your computer. If the device has any damage that can somehow hinder the repair of the touch, the problem should be resolved before working on the touchscreen.
Apple’s repair program covers affected iPhone 11s for two years after the unit is first retailed. It should be noted, however, that this display replacement intervention does not in any way extend the standard warranty of the device.
