Apple launches tvOS 9.2 beta 6 for developers

Shortly after sending invitations to the event in which, unless major surprise, the new 4-inch iPhone is expected to be called iPhone SE with a new iPad 9.7 inch whose name (also) be iPad Pro will be presented, Apple has released the sixth beta of tvOS 9.2 for developers. Unlike the rest of betas, this new beta comes more than a week after the fifth beta of tvOS 9.2.

At this point no outstanding innovation beyond the performance improvements and bug fixes that are included in all new versions of any software is no longer expected. Yes, yes tvOS 9.2 include major enhancements that make us think that is not a minor release, unlike other versions which have included more discrete improvements.

Among the innovations that come with tvOS 9.2, is the possibility of entering text using Dictation, which even allow us to dictate our passwords, the ability to create folders, something that I look forward to not having the home screen of my Apple TV 4 so disorderly, or multitasking with the same image as the iOS 9 which show us the letters cascaded and not next to each other as we showed in iOS 8 and iOS 7.

If there are no major surprises, the final version of TVOS 9.2 should arrive sometime during the week of March 21, with possibilities to be launched during the presentation that will take place that day. Until then, the best we can do users who are not developers is expected, since installing the betas of tvOS is not as simple as installing a betas of iOS that can be installed with just download the .ipsw file and open it with iTunes.
