Apple released OS X 10.10 Yosemite Update 1.0


Developer-Preview-YosemiteFollowing iOS 8 beta 2, users have access to the latest updated Apple OS X 10.10 Yosemite Update 1.0 operating systems. Assembly appeared on the official company website and is available as an upgrade via Mac App Store.

OS X Yosemite continues in the direction that was set last year with the launch of OS X Mavericks, offering users even more clear design and with more features inspired by iOS 7. Notification Center has been expanded with the new “View Now” for a calendar, reminders, weather, stocks, and social networking widgets. Spotlight universal search tool has become one of the most important tools of the operating system,  it appears in the foreground of the desktop center.

One of the most significant changes is the new iCloud Drive service, which allows you to access all the files stored in iCloud account via File Browser Finder. Users can browse files stored in the cloud, group them into folders and search using Spotlight like any other types of files. All files will be synchronized between iCloud Drive, OS X, iOS and even Windows.

Finally, AirDrop supports with OS X and iOS let users share images and other data between mobile devices and desktop systems without using a cord.

A preliminary version of Yosemite has been available to download since the beginning of the month. As you know, since April OS X testing program is open to all comers. Therefore, users who want to install on their computers beta desktop operating system Apple, do not necessarily get official developer account. The program «OS X Beta Seed Program» test assemblies are available to all comers. Apple has limited testing Yosemite one million participants.

The public release of OS X Yosemite in the fall of this year. The operating system will be available only through the online store Mac App Store.
