Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 for all users registered developers in the beta testing program. iOS 13.4 brings folder sharing with iCloud, the new Animoji/Memoji, support for the new CarKey, improvements to CarPlay and much more.
If you are a developer, you can download the beta profile via the developer website, then install it. The iOS 13.4 beta download is available for the iPhone. For the iPads, special software has been released, namely iPadOS 13. Public testers can participate by registering for the public beta of iOS.
You can often encounter problems when testing betas. First of all, not all features are immediately available but are added and expanded during the test period. You may also suffer from crashes or some apps may not work properly. So keep this in mind if you decide to test an iOS update. It is therefore not recommended to install a beta on a device that you use every day, because there may still be many problems in the beta.
Note: these betas are only for developers and public testers and are not suitable for use on devices that you need every day.
