iOS 11 was released on tuesday September 19th and the update process went smoothly. There were no major issues with the installation, making the majority of people quickly up to date with iOS 11 on their device. However, in the days after, it appeared that iOS 11 is indeed bugged with bugs and problems. Last week we received multiple complaints from readers. The most mentioned questions and complaints have been listed in our article about iOS 11 bugs and issues.
iOS 11.0.1 has to at least ensure the first bug fixes. Soon after the release, both Microsoft and Apple came up with a statement that sending mail via an Outlook account in the default Mail app was not possible. This problem may have been fixed in iOS 11.0.1. Because iOS 11.0.1 just recently appeared, we still do not know exactly which bugs are fixed. Once more information is available, we will update this post.
The update build is stamped “15A402” or “15A403” and weighs around 277.6MB . To download over-the -air go to Settings → General → Software Update.
