After releasing iOS and iPadOS 13.6, Apple has officially released watchOS 6.2.8 and tvOS 13.4.8, and minor update to minor macOS Catalina 10.15.6.

Although the beta testing phase of macOS Big Sur has already entered the heart of the world, Apple is also making the final touches to the current publicly available release. macOS Catalina 10.15.6 is now officially available for everyone.

This new update introduces the usual bug fixes and improvements to system performance but also a novelty, unfortunately not available in Italy. We are talking about support for the Apple News + Audio Stories service.

To update your Mac, all you have to do is access the System Preferences and then go to the Software Update item. Start searching for a new update and proceed with the download.

watchOS 6.2.8 introduces Car Key, a function also available on ‌iPhone‌ with iOS 13.6. Car Key is designed to allow the use of an “iPhone” or an “Apple Watch” instead of a physical key to unlock a vehicle with NFC support. Apple has also extended the ECG and irregular heartbeat notification feature to Brazil, Bahrain, and South Africa. The feature is available starting in Apple Watch Series 5.

As for Apple Watch, the update can be downloaded through the dedicated Watch app on the iPhone, by going to the Software Update panel of the General menu. Remember to have your device at least 50% charged. As for Apple TV, the update to download is located in the software update panel, from the General section of the Product Settings.

Both updates introduce bug fixes and security updates, which is certainly a good reason to install them on your supported products.
