Apple started testing OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 internally



As the release of the new edition of the  OS X 10.10 operating system approaching, Apple still working on OS X Mavericks. As it became known , the company conducted an internal test of 10.9.4 update , codenamed “Epic”.

The new operating system  build will bring bug fixes and improvements in stability and performance. OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 update is still in alpha testing , so the first build is only available to Apple employees. Developers and users will have access to update through AppleSeed program when the operating system will go into beta status .

Testing of OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 started in preparation for the release of the final version of 10.9.3 update. The main innovation in the latter is aimed at Mac users with 4K- display . In the default, OS zoom function is activated HiDPI, when the system interface elements are displayed with a resolution twice as high as usual.

Also OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 restores function to sync contacts and calendars on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with Mac computers. The ability to synchronize contacts and calendar data to the iPhone and iPad has been excluded in one of the previous releases . Now users can transmit data only through a cloud service iCloud.

OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 will debut in the coming days. Output assembly OS X 10.9.4, which will be the last update for the Mavericks, will be held before the release of the final version of OS X 10.10, which is scheduled this Fall .
