Apple stops signing iOS 14.7

Apple has stopped signing iOS 14.7 for good, making it impossible for users to downgrade from later versions. With signatures blocked, users who have upgraded their devices to iOS 14.7.1 can no longer downgrade the operating system.

This interruption will also have repercussions on potential jailbreaks, as potential unlocks of iOS 14.7 would now be useless for those who have already updated to iOS 14.7.1.

iOS 14.7.1 fixes the bug that prevented some users from unlocking their Apple Watch by simply unpairing iPhone via Touch ID. In addition, Apple also fixed some security flaws and improved the overall performance of the operating system.
