Apple to announce Amazon Prime Video for Apple TV at WWDC 2017

Amazon Prime Video is definitely coming on the Apple TV, reports BuzzFeed citing sources close to the matter.  In the beginning of May, Recode reported that Apple and Amazon were working together to make the Prime Video app available to Apple TV this summer. The two companies had to personally meet for this and discuss it at the highest level.

Now there is more news: John Paczkowski of BuzzFeed wants to have learned that Apple will announce the Amazon Prime video app for the Apple TV on the WWDC. According to this, Prime Video could be announced on June 5, or even released directly for download.

Apple TV will be sold again via Amazon

Likewise, Amazon would like to meet Apple and offer the Apple TV again via Amazon. At that time one had the Apple TV from the assortment, since the video app from Amazon does not function and the “could confuse the customers”.

The rumors continue to grow ever more, so we strongly assume that the video app can be installed on the Apple TV in the summer. With this app, you don’t need to use AirPlay any longer and enjoy the Amazon content with ease on the Bigscreen.
