Apple To Release 4-inch iPhone With A9 Chip At The Beginning Of 2016

iPhone-6-PlusAnalyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI has released a new research, the result of his latest studies on Apple.

First, Kuo still believe that Apple is about to release a new 4-inch iPhone which will be an update of the 5s. The smartphone is expected to arrive in early 2016, and mount the A9 processor.

As there is still demand for a 4-inch iPhone, we believe Apple will upgrade this product line. Because the iPhone 5s is more popular than the iPhone 5c, we think Apple is likely to launch an upgraded iPhone 5s. We predict Apple will mass-produce this new 4-inch iPhone in 1H16 with metal casings.

Kuo thinks that this new smartphone will not integrate 3D support Touch, not to lose differentiation and reduce sales of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. It has also provided a sales potential for 20-30 million devices by the end of 2016 .

As for the future iPhone 7 instead, Kuo believes that will be released in the fourth quarter of 2016 with the new A10 chip and 2GB of RAM for the base model but 3GB of RAM for the Plus model. How much will KGI prediction be true this time?
