Apple to Release iOS 12.1 on Oct. 30

Apple is planning on releasing iOS 12.1 for all users during the event on October 30.

The new release, confirmed by Apple through an official document on the site, is expected at the end of the presentation of the new iPad and will bring with it several features definitely expected.

The group FaceTime calls will be available, expected already with the first of iOS 12 but postponed by Apple. Also with iOS 12.1 will also be enabled support for the eSIM of the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR that will allow the adoption of a second carrier in all without the need to introduce a second physical SIM inside the phone except the Chinese version that already uses two physical SIMs.

Starting today, it will also be possible to use the function to change the blur level of the portrait mode in real time before taking a shot; 70 new emojis will come along with a series of bug fixes and performance improvements that should make the operating system even more fluid and performant.

Therefore, you have to wait until the end of the event today to update your devices in order to get all the new features Apple introduced.
