According to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will release the second-gen iPhone SE in the first quarter of 2020.
In a recent note sent to investors, Kuo states that the iPhone SE 2 will have a design similar to the iPhone 8 with an A13 chip and 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device should have a single camera on the back and the classic Home button with Touch ID, without any face recognition feature.
The analyst predicts that the new device will be launched in the first quarter of 2020 and will serve to increase the market share of the countries where the company has more difficulties, such as China and India.
Kuo also predicts that Apple will sell between 30 and 40 million iPhone SE 2s in 2020, especially capturing users who are currently still in possession of the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus.
This is not the first time we talk about an iPhone SE 2 and to date, Apple has never presented this model.
