Apple is planning on introducing about 70 new emoji with the arrival of iOS 12, among which are emojis more expressive, personalized hair, food, animals and sports.
Apple has issued a statement during the World Emoji Day in which it has revealed that this year will be launched more than 70 new ’emojis’ in the form of free software update for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.
More than 70 new emoji characters are coming to iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac later this year in a free software update. The new emoji designs, created based on approved characters in Unicode 11.0, include even more hair options to better represent people with red hair, gray hair and curly hair, a new emoji for bald people, and new smiley faces that bring more expression to Messages with a cold face, party face, pleading face and a face with hearts.
The designs of the new ’emojis’ are based on the characters approved in Unicode 11.0, including in this way more personalized options and thus be able to represent people with red hair or curly or gray hair, the same happens for people without hair, besides adding expressions such as anguish, supplication, celebration and hearts.
In relation to the animals, the ’emojis’ of kangaroo, lobster, peacock and parrot will be added. The food will also have a greater representation, integrating lettuce, moon cake, cupcake or mango.
Following this path, Apple will also incorporate into its catalog of ’emojis’ more sports characters, superheroes and symbols such as a nazar amulet or the symbol of infinity.
The launch of iOS 12 will bring all these developments related to the ’emojis’.
