Rumor: Apple to feature-complete software for iTV Apple TV at WWDC

BGR has heard from a reliable source that Apple has a new OS for the Apple TV will demonstrate at WWDC. This OS would also be used by the unreleased Apple iTVTherefore, there are more features in the OS than iO
for the current Apple TV.

Apple would try to persuade manufacturers to create a new API in accessories to process, so they can be controlled through the Apple TV. This would allow the Apple TV a central hub for all your equipment can be in your living room. The Apple TV would in this way to communicate with the example set-top box that your television provider.

BGR's source is convinced that the Apple iTV itself is not at WWDC will be demonstrated. Apple would only show the first OS in combination with the Apple TV.

We’ve heard Apple is actively trying to court manufacturers to use a new “control out” API in order for third-party manufacturers to make accessories that are compatible with the new Apple TV OS and the upcoming “iTV.”

It’s said that by using the API, it will be possible to control any connected components all from the Apple remote(and the Apple remote iOS app as well, we’re assuming).

If the software for the HDTV is actually presented during the WWDC keynote, it seems a presentation tjokvolle be. On the hardware field, we expect new MacBook Pros, and we hope to sneak new iMacs . On the software side, the upcoming Mountain Lion likely to be treated, there is news about  iOS 6 and can expect an update of icloud actually inevitable. In addition, Apple is busy persuading manufacturers, the company wants the TV makers start using a new API. This API should allow accessories to be connected to operate from the Apple remote.

Although the current Apple TV uses iOS, it is not yet clear whether this new version is also part of the current operating system. The keynote at WWDC will be held on June 11, 2012 at. As usual, we will report the event.
