Bruce Springsteen is one of the greatest singers in the world. Although he is already 71 years old, he still manages to put on a great show on stage, from which many artists can learn something at the age of twenty.
So it is high time Springsteen got its documentary, Apple must have thought. The documentary arrives on Apple TV Plus faster than you think. The documentary will premiere on streaming service on October 23. That’s not all, because on the same date he will also release a new album that is not entirely coincidental called Letter to You.
In Bruce Springsteen: Letter to You, we see the singer playing with his full band for the first time. The documentary is actually about recording the new album. It contains ten recordings of the final songs that will appear on the record. Also, we also see older images that we have never seen before and we get an even better picture of the singer. The movie calls Apple TV Plus “A tribute to the E Street Band, rock music and the part it played in The Boss’s life.“
With the announcement of the new documentary about Springsteen, Apple seems to want to move more clearly into the music side. Earlier it announced a Christmas special around Mariah Carey and a documentary about singer Billie Eilish.
