Apple Updated WWDC App Ahead Of June 4 keynote

WWDC app 2018While waiting for the World Wide Developer Conference 2018 schedule to start on June 4, Apple updated the official WWDC application recently to version 6.0 with some interesting news and a new icon. Apple also announced a new challenge on Apple Watch dedicated to the event.

Apple has made several changes to the WWDC app to improve the user experience, both for those who participate physically at the event, and for those who will follow from home. The videos of the various developer sessions are now the focus of the app and always in the foreground, so it will be easier to consult the contents of the WWDC.

Here what’s new in version 7.0:

  • New organization based on topics divided between videos, sessions and workshops.
  • New redesign to simplify the search for favorites, downloaded videos, sessions and workshops.
  • Access to resources, documentation, sample codes and related content.
  • Lists of sessions, laboratories and related videos.

Apple has also announced an activity challenge on Apple Watch dedicated to developers who will participate in WWDC 2018. All devs are invited to participate in this exclusive challenge to get an unprecedented reward on watchOS. The challenge will start on 3 June and will end four days later.
