We have already seen the possible image of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 4 that Apple should present on September 12, and today new details on display resolution for the 42mm model emerge.
According to 9to5Mac discovery in watchOS beta 5, the resolution of the 42mm version will be 384×480 pixels. The resolution of the current 42 mm model is 312×390.
The 4 Series will therefore have a higher resolution, thanks to a larger screen with thinner frames that will not increase the overall size of the Apple Watch. The new model should also have a higher PPI number, probably equal to 345.
The new Apple Watch will include new dials and new complications designed specifically for the larger screen.
