After Apple yesterday launched at odd hours the fourth beta of macOS Mojave, today the company released iOS 12 Beta 4 as well as the tvOS 12 and watchOS 5 fourth betas for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch. All compatible devices can now be updated to this Beta, which is currently only available to developers.
Apple is gradually improving newer beta versions approaching the release of the golden master , which is expected to arrive just after the summer, although we do not have an official release date yet.
This year Apple has decided to be more conservative with its releases and although there are some very interesting news the vast majority of the effort has focused on giving greater stability to the system and improving the performance of the devices, especially the older ones that already suffered with iOS 11 and Apple wants to rejuvenate with iOS 12. Improvements in Do Not Disturb mode, the new ARKit, the Memoji, Siri Shortcuts to customize the virtual assistant and integrate it with third-party applications that can not access Siri natively … iOS 12 improvements or should they be taken lightly.
The Apple Watch also improves with the Walkie Talkie feature or the new activity detection that knows you are practicing automatically, or the new options for the Siri sphere that finally has access to third-party applications. Perhaps the least favored has been the Apple TV that has few changes, at least outside the United States. At the moment this fourth version is only available for developers.
