It isn’t most effective in hardware that the iPhone 4 CDMA is different from its cousin 3G: according to Engadget , it uses iOS 4.2.5 , while the last official version is iOS 4.2.1. The build number and 8E128, 8C148 cons for iOS 4.2.1 (8C148a on iPhone 3G).

The only obvious difference is the integration of a modem function WiFi hotspot, allowing you to connect up to 5 devices via WiFi to the iPhone , which then serves as a gateway to the Internet. It is a flagship feature of Verizon, which is very different from the USB or Bluetooth modem mode currently used by IOS. The question now is whether a WiFi modem mode will be included in a future update for the iPhone iOS 4 "normal" and other models, since we expect iOS 4.3 for next week.
