RealNetworks announced the international launch cloud service RealPlayer Cloud. An application that allows to store video created on a variety of devices , load them , and stream -available platforms for iOS, Android, Windows 8 , Kindle Fire, Roku and Chromecast.
Share video files can even those who do not have the program RealPlayer. The downloaded files are converted to formats that are most appropriate to the device user , whichever is the device type , screen resolution , etc. From the cloud files can easily be sent by mail, and when you play online , you can restrict the availability of clips , creating user groups .
At the heart of RealPlayer Cloud is an updated version of the application RealPlayer, designed for the iPhone and iPad ( since iOS 5) , devices running the operating system Android ( supported version from the fourth ) , as well as for Windows-based PCs and set-top boxes and Roku TV Chromecast. Soon to appear and a full version for Mac.
Most functions RealPlayer Cloud free , have to pay only if you want to store more than 2 GB of data. Capable of storing 25 GB costs $49 per year, 100 GB – $99, 300 GB – $299. There is one serious limitation : the length of the video recorded on a PC can not exceed 15 minutes – a measure aimed at curbing piracy. But clips shot with the iPhone or Android, restriction does not apply .
