While waiting for a patch to correct issues with the tool Taig 2.0 jailbreak, Saurik just released a minor update to Cydia installer to version 1.1.17, which fully support the TaiG’s iOS 8.3 jailbreak.

The update is only for Cydia installer, therefore does not represent the long-awaited update of Taig 2: However, thanks to the version 1.1.17,  Cydia will be able to properly indentificare the device and better manage alerts about the packages that are compatible with iOS 8.3.

To download the update you will not have to install the Cydia Installer package and wait for the usual respring.

Among the novelties introduced, there is also a resolution of an issue that prevented adding to the list of local repositories sources due to a filter too little permissive introduced earlier from now developers can again experience the changes in their own local repository before making them public.

The update should also fix the problems some users have reported on the non-initialization of Cydia on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
