While the final versions of iOS 9.3, tvOS 9.2, and watchOS 2.2 available, Apple has also released OS X 10.11.4. The update is now available from the Apple Developer Center and from the Mac App Store. As in the case of watchOS 2.2, this new version of the operating system for Apple computers also comes with many new features, but includes features that can not miss on any device that has the logo of the bitten apple.
The most important feature of all is the support for Live Photos. As you all know, the “living pictures” are available from Apple last September and came from the hand of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. Been six months of that time, so their arrival in OS X can make good sayings “Better late than never” or “never too late if that is good.
OS X 10.11.4 includes some new features in the Notes application, including the ability to protect your notes with a password that will have to open them to enter, view or edit them, as long as we have previously protected. As for me yeah I’m interested in is how to protect to edit, because sometimes I’m afraid of losing some of my notes by clicking where it should not (although you can retrieve documents from icloud.com). To access password protected notes on other devices have to do it from iOS 9.3 or later. On the other hand, if we have password we protected a note we will no longer see it in OS X 10.11.3 or earlier.
Another development that reaches the Notes application 10.11.4 OS X is the ability to import notes Evernote.
OS X 10.11.4 includes support for Wi-Fi calls to Verizon customers. Moreover, it has also corrected a problem that prevented Safari shortened Twitter links display the “t.co” type. These links can see the third-party applications such as Tweetbot. In addition, as always, error correction and improvement of reliability and performance, something that is never taken into account but that may be one of the best developments in any upgrade of an operating system is included. The update to OS X 10.11.4 can be found on the Updates tab in the Mac App Store.
