It won’t be long now before Apple starts telling us all about iOS 15, watchOS 8, macOS 12, and more: WWDC 2021 is coming! Like last year, WWDC 2021 will be held completely digitally, with a pre-recorded presentation where all the new features (and maybe new products!) will be announced. You can follow the WWDC 2021 live via Ihelplounge not only on June 7, but also for the rest of the week. This article is the starting point for your WWDC week. On the day of the event you find coverage, but later also the summary of the WWDC 2021!
What to expect on Apple’s WWDC 2021 in brief?
Here are the key expectations for the WWDC in a nutshell:
iOS 15: new version for iPhone, suitable from iPhone 7.
iPadOS 15: New version for the iPad, with much of the same improvements as iOS 15.
watchOS 8: Major update for the Apple Watch.
tvOS 15: upcoming update for the Apple TV.
macOS 12: New Update for the Mac.
Chance of New Hardware: New MacBook Pro Models
All software versions will almost certainly pass, but what exactly Apple will announce is still the question. Relatively little information has been leaked in recent weeks, so many features will still be a surprise. As far as we’re concerned, that only makes the presentation more fun. According to reliable sources, Apple also has new products in-store that will also be shown. This would mainly concern new MacBook Pros, with a faster Apple Silicon chip and new design.
