Facebook began testing the automatic downloading photos from iOS based devices to a personal folder on the social network page, reports the news portal Cnet.
Facebook users on iOS will be open to automatically sync your photos to social network with iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
Feature that automatically downloads the images captured from devices to the iOS, is now available only to a small number of users as a test version. To test the new feature, you must have the latest version of the social network, and have the option to “Sync”, located at the bottom of the menu. Mobile can download 2 GB of photos.
Testing a similar function for the devices on the Android platform in the social network was launched in September.
As part of sync, Facebook loads are all done on the phone in a special way visible only to the author photo folder on Facebook. According to experts, it is not only helps keep the picture in case you lose or damage your smartphone, but encourages users to share more photos on social network, initiating the activity of other users.
Until the function is tested on a small sample, but now timing information image can be found in the Help Center Facebook. Feature is enabled by default, but it can be configured by the user to reduce the cost of mobile data traffic.
