It seems that from now on we will have to make room for another model and today, a leak what seems to be the back of the iPhone SE 2 appear online.
According to a new image published by Slashleaks, a rather reliable source, in China would be photographed – and published on Weibo, via Slashleaks – the back shells of what might be the second iPhone SE model.
Through the Weibo social network, from which many of the leaks that appear in recent years, has spread an image showing the aforementioned backside of the alleged iPhone SE 2 and a document in which the reference N79 appears, Codename that Apple and its trading partners could be using today.
According to the source of the filtration, the panels appear to be made of ion-X glass, the same material that the company uses to make some models of Apple Watch. The use of this material suggests that the device could also have a wireless load, a feature with which it has many ballots to count the iPhone 8 and that if this information is correct would mean that Apple seeks to take a couple more steps in their devices.
At the moment there is more information on this alleged second generation of iPhone SE and we do not believe that it will reach the market in the coming months. Launching it before or along with the iPhone 8 could affect sales of the high-end model, so if you are really preparing a new version of the phone we do not expect it until at least the first quarter of 2018.
