Luca Todesco announced in his Twitter account that he published a patch or update to Yalu Jailbreak that adds support for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone SE with TSMC processor. These three devices add to those that were already compatible with Yalu, from the beginning, there were the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and both iPad Pro. But the update only adds compatibility with new devices and the software is still in beta, So only those who know what they are exposed should use it.
Todesco warns that there is a “pretty serious bug” in Yalu, a bug that he would like to fix before adding support for more devices. The famous hacker, who since the launch of Yalu has started to be for good reasons, warns users of his tool to jailbreak iOS 10 to avoid using Yucca Utilities and any other substrate enabler.
It’s been said that iOS 10.2 on the iPhone 6s and earlier was vulnerable to its tool, the hacker says “nothing will happen to 10.2 unless something extraordinary happens.” What it said is that it would add support for other devices, such as iPhone 6 or 5s, that have iOS 10.1.1 installed, but that “is not a priority.” If interested to get the latest version of Yalu from @sticktron TSMC fix; for iPhone 6s, 6s Plus from here and iPhone SE from here.
