Fortnite Now Support 60 FPS On iPhone XS, XS Max, XR

Fortnite has become a money-making machine since it appeared in the App Store, managing to surpass many of the records previously achieved by other successful games such as Pokémon Go. Practically every week the guys from Epic Games launch a new update, adding new features, eliminating some of the available and improving the operation of the game.

Epic Games has released a new update of Fornite, an update that offers us as the main novelty the possibility of playing at 60 fps, that if only on the most powerful devices from Apple, such as the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.

With this update, playing Fortnite is a much better experience than doing it with a Nintendo Switch or with any Android device, an ecosystem where it is also available for a few months, although the number of compatible devices is very small. To be able to change the number of frames per second that the game offers us, we must go to the configuration options of the game, specifically in the Video tab and modify Frequency of images in the mobile and set it to 60 fps.

Thanks to this update, we will be able to enjoy Fortnite as we can currently do with the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One. From Epic they say they are working to offer that same rate of fps in the Android ecosystem, but if we take into account the time it has taken the company to launch the version for this ecosystem, we can wait sitting down, not lying down.

This new update, the number 6.31 also offers us the possibility of giving away objects to other users, but unfortunately, due to Apple’s prohibitions, this feature is not available on the iPhone and iPad.
