GridSwitcher is a Cydia tweaks that modify multitasking. If we could already see tweaks as advanced as Auxo 3 and Tage, which bring us a long list of new features for multitasking and multi-touch gestures, now we show a much simpler tweak, but surely taste of many. GridSwitcher completely changes the look of multitasking in iOS 8 offering insight grid, allowing access to applications more quickly.
This tweak is compatible with iOS iOS 7, and 8 and with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, has not much else. Cosmetic changes only, no other functions, but yes we can add other tweaks, because it is perfectly compatible with the two that I mentioned earlier: Auxo 3 and Tage. It has a downside: not allowed to see the favorite contacts on the screen multitasking, so you’ll have to disable them. If this is an important feature for you, GridSwither is not your tweak. The operation of multitasking is the same: slides up an application to completely close it.
The configuration is very simple tweak. A button that activates (Enabled) and some display options such as how many windows can see on screen, show or hide the icons of open applications, even vary in size. This setup menu is available in the System Settings, within the menu “Settings> GridSwitcher”. Look no icons on the springboard because there are none for this tweak.
GridSwitcher is a completely free tweak, something appreciated now that the vast majority of applications and tweaks Cydia really worth are extra, so do not lose anything by it a try and see if we prefer the usual view that iOS offers us or prefer the grid view. It is available on the BigBoss repo.
