iPhone and iPad, fourth-generation network support , lack 3G switch in Settings. Requirements:
- iPhone 5 , 5c, 5s running iOS 7.0-7.0.6.
- Jailbreak (instructions here).
- Free File Manager iFile from Cydia.
How to set the switch on the iPhone 3G instead of LTE:
Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone using Evasi0n7.
Step 2: Open Cydia and download the file manager iFile.
Step 3: Start iFile and go to the folder System / Library / Carrier bundles / iPhone.
Step 4: Look for the directory that applies to your operator ( Beeline, MTS or Megafon) .
Step 5: Locate the file and click overrides_N51_N53.pri “i”. Add the percent sign in the file name , so he called overrides_N51_N53.pri%. Click Finish.
Step 6: Now you need to go into the folder Signatures and do the same with the plist- file , replace overrides_N51_N53.plist on overrides_N51_N53.plist%.
Step 7 : Fully restart iPhone, the change should take effect.
Now, instead of 4G , you will see the settings inscription 3G. To restore the old switch , remove the icon “%” in the names of files and reboot the device .
