If your iPad started acting up, it may be time to change your battery. Don’t worry, there is an easier and quicker way to change it. As mentioned by Apple, inside the AirTag, there is a very common CR2032 button battery with declared autonomy for about a year. Estimating the battery life is difficult in some ways it could depend on how the AirTag is used. However, your iPhone will let you know when it’s time to change your tracker’s battery. To replace the battery you will have to perform this simple procedure:
- Rotate your device with the Apple logo facing you
- With both thumbs, apply a little pressure and rotate the Apple logo plate counterclockwise
- Lift the lid and remove the exhausted battery
- Now insert the new battery and replace the cover on the housing, now turning clockwise to close your device
With this simple procedure, your AirTag will be back in shape again. It is recommended that you replace the battery in due time, that is when your iPhone requires it. In this world you will thus avoid bringing the battery to complete depletion, thus not being able to locate your AirTag in case of loss. We also recommend that you pay close attention to the correct closure of the rear cover, in order to avoid the entry of dust or liquids that could compromise the operation of your AirTag.
