The well known jailbreak developer Stefan Esser aka “i0n1c” believes that iOS 8 beta 1 can be easily hacked using existing techniques .
” Tests have shown that the first beta version of iOS is not closed 8 vulnerabilities. Easily uploaded kernel – the code has changed, but the patches are not found – the hacker wrote in his microblog . – I think tomorrow devote a couple of hours in the office to adapt the code and jailbreak compatible with iOS 8 . ” i0n1c said that the only thing that may cause problems is support for online store Cydia.
Esser announced the development of jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 in May. The hacker showed a video of a hacked iPhone 5c . Later i0n1c tweeted that his jailbreak will not work , at least not until this Fall.
Observers believe that the jailbreak for iOS 8 did not appear until the final version of the firmware. For hackers, it is not appropriate to disclose vulnerabilities of the firmware before Apple releases the final version of the new OS.
Apple introduced iOS 8 at the opening of the WWDC 2014 on Monday .
