A few days ago, iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Yalu was released for the entire Jailbreak community, and therefore could install Cydia on the iPhone and iPad updated to that version, although only a few models were compatible, specifically The iPhone SE, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and the iPad Pro.
However Luca Todesco did not forget the rest of the devices and just a couple of days later, released an update of Yalu 10.2 to be compatible with almost all 64-bit devices.
Yalu 10.2 Beta 3 can be downloaded from the official @qwertyoruiophttps Twitter page belonging to user Luca Todesco. This new version is compatible with all 64-bit devices except the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, as well as the iPad Air 2. We list all compatible devices so there is no doubt below:
- iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE
- iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro
- iPod Touch 6th Gen
It is still a Beta version as we have indicated, so it is likely that it may still contain some bugs, so if it is always advisable to perform a backup before performing Jailbreak, in this case it is almost mandatory. Remember also that it is a Jailbreak semi-tethered, so when restarting will have to repeat the process from a certain point, although the advantage is that a computer will not be necessary since it can be done from the device itself. You have a guide on how to do the Jailbreak with Yalu 10.2 in this link for those who are not familiar with the procedure.
We do not know if it will be possible to Jailbreak the remaining devices, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and iPad Air 2, but we will inform you promptly of any progress that may occur in this regard.
