A new report that shows more details on the three possible iPhone that will be launched by Apple later this year, Macotakara published.
Macotakara, from a reliable source close to Apple suppliers working in China learned (Google Translate) that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will be the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus with a 5.5-inch screen.
However, this 6.5-inch iPhone should be slightly more spent due to the rear camera. We are talking about a thickness of about 7.7mm, 0.2mm more than the iPhone 8 Plus.
Obviously, the dimensions will be similar due to the absence of the frames on the new 6.5-inch iPhone. The design will be virtually identical to that of the current iPhone X.
As for the 6.1-inch model, the choice of the LCD panel is confirmed. In fact, today’s report states that the display will be 6 inches and not 6.1. This model will still integrate the Face ID.
All three models will have an improved camera, both in terms of sensor and lenses. The 5.8-inch iPhone will use the same case as the current model.
According to Macotakara iOS 12 will add support for horizontal unlocking via Face ID. Currently, the facial unlocking only works with the iPhone X positioned vertically, but with iOS 12 this operation should be activated even if the device is horizontal. In addition, the Face ID should also be integrated on all the iPads that will be presented in 2018.
