iOS 8.3 Enables WiFi Calling for Sprint in US., EE Subscribers in the U.K.

Yesterday, we announced several new features in iOS 8.3 but there are others. If you are located in the USA or UK then this post is likely to interest you. Especially if you are a subscriber, respectively with Sprint or EE operator. Indeed, since the iOS 8.3 release tonight, subscribers of both operators can now take advantage of WiFi calls instead of going through the cellular network.

This feature can be very useful if you are domiciled in a small village refueled by crows, or even if you have abroad. To enjoy this feature, you need to have at least an iPhone 5C / 5S / 6/6 Plus. If this is the case, you simply go to the settings and activate the feature.

The International Sprint supports 200 different destinations if the subscriber when using  WiFi calling to US number, the Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico. Note that this feature is already active since last year at T-Mobile. [Via 9to5Mac]
