iPhone 5 codename N42 to have the same price as the iPhone 4S


From a variety of sources, 9to5mac received the news that the iPhone 5 to be unveiled next week has the codename N42. Earlier this year there appeared some interesting details about an unknown device codenamed N42, it was a device with a 1136 x 640 resolution, so that the iPhone 5 screen will be 4-inch.

Here is the part codes matrix for the new iPhone launch from a source at a well-known U.S. retail chain: N42A-USA -$199, N42B-USA-$199, N42A-USA-$299, N42B-USA-$299, N42A-USA-$399, N42B-USA-$399. A + B signify black and white.

The price of the iPhone 5 will not be higher than what is currently offered with the iPhone 4S, this means that the price for an iPhone 4S will decrease. According to rumors, the iPhone 5 will go sale on September in the U.S.
