iPhone 6 to receive a Quad HD 2k Retina display



The new Apple will be equipped with a display panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (Quad HD), reports Stevenotes citing anonymous employees from the Hong Kong Branch of the California corporation.

The publication emphasized that the smartphone in the picture above with Taiwanese singer and actor Jimmy Lin published in the media last week, is a real prototype of iPhone 6.

Note that the new iPhone 6 will have a display with a resolution Quad HD. What kind of model in question – with a screen size of 4.7 or 5.5 inches is not specified. It is believed that the use of ultra-high resolution displays with a negative impact on the battery life of mobile devices, but LG experts successfully solved this problem with the LG G which is equipped with a QHD-screen.

In May, media sources reported that Apple’s smartphone will have a resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels. For comparison, the iPhone 5 and 5s are equipped with a screen resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels, while the iPhone 4 and 4s has 960 x 640.
